The motor gets some of the closest attention in the whole process. Each base is cleaned and tested for electrical performance, including an amp draw test that confirms it's operating within strict specifications.

Any motor that doesn't pass testing is immediately pulled from the refurbishment process and recycled. Only motors that pass make it into a refurbished unit.
