Leafy (examples: spinach, lettuce, kale) 2. Soft (examples: lemon, pineapple, kiwi) 3. Medium (examples: melons, cucumber, celery) 4. Hard (examples: carrots, beets, ginger)
- [J2 Tips and Tricks](https://support.namawell.com/en-US/j2-tips-and-tricks-5901848.md): Tip 1 — Assembling While Not on Base: The chamber set must be assembled first before placing onto the base. After juicing, make sure to remove the entire chamber set from the base before disassembling. Tip 2 — Unlocking and Removing the Hopper Lid: Squeeze the release tab to unlock the hopper lid. The hopper lid can be removed by lifting straight up. To reconnect, press down firmly until it clicks into place. Note: if the hopper lid is not closed, the juicer will not turn on. Tip 3 — Placing the Strainer into the Chamber: You will notice two wings on the strainer. One large and one small. Firmly place the strainer set into the chamber by locating the corresponding large and small cutouts. Push down until the top of the auger is sitting flush with the top of the strainer. Tip 4 — Maximum Fill Line: Do not load the hopper past the Maximum Fill Line. Tip 5 — Pulp Outlet Loop: When cleaning the chamber, open the pulp outlet loop and clean the inside. The pulp outlet gasket can be easily removed and cleaned. Simply push it back into place once clean. Tip 6 — Pusher: Only use the provided pusher to press ingredients through the hopper lid. Tip 7 — Reverse: Turn and hold the Control Knob to REV if the juicer stops due to a jam. You can also hold the knob to REV for 15 seconds after juicing is completed. This will make the chamber easier to disassemble. Tip 8 — Cleaning Silicone Parts: Removable silicone parts include the pulp outlet seal gasket, juice cap stopper, spinning brush blades, and chamber gasket. We recommend removing them every once in a while and cleaning with the included brush. Tip 9 — Nutmilk: For plant-based milks such as almond milk, it is best to add ingredients through the top hole in the hopper lid while the machine is on. Be sure to scoop water and nuts together as you add them into your juicer. This will help give the best consistency.
- [J2 Cleaning Guide](https://support.namawell.com/en-US/j2-cleaning-guide-5901849.md): Step 1 — Finished Juicing: When you're finished juicing, always hand wash your juicer right away. Holding the handle on the hopper, pull the entire chamber set off of the base and disassemble in the sink. Note: Chamber set cannot be disassembled while still on the base. Step 2 — Unlock Chamber Set: Twist open the hopper using the handle and disassemble the strainer set. Step 3 — Hopper: The lid on the hopper can be removed by opening the lid and pulling up. The inside of the hopper is safe to clean. The processing blade is pointy but not sharp. Step 4 — Wash Each Component: Wash each component by running them under water and scrubbing with a sponge or brush. The cleaning brush comes with a dual ended tip which can be used to pick out any pulp or scrub smaller areas. Step 5 — Chamber: When cleaning the chamber, open the pulp outlet loop and clean the inside. The pulp outlet gasket can be easily removed and cleaned. Simply push it back into place once clean. Step 6 — Removable Silicone Parts: Other removable silicone parts include the pulp outlet seal gasket, juice cap stopper, spinning brush blades, and chamber gasket. We recommend removing them every once in a while and cleaning with the included brush. Step 7 — Drying: Make sure to always hand dry your juicer right away after washing. This will prevent any remaining residue from staining your juicer. Leave it out to dry before reassembling. Step 8 — Cleaning the Base: Use a damp cloth to clean up any pulp residue or juice off of the base. Make sure to avoid any water contact around the control knob and the plug outlet. Step 9 — Deep Cleaning: For a deeper clean, the parts can be soaked overnight in a mixture of warm water and three and a half ounces or 100 grams of baking soda. Alternatively you can use equal parts warm water and vinegar. Step 10 — After Soaking Overnight: Wash and scrub each part after soaking overnight. After cleaning, always dry, or allow each part to air dry before reassembling.
- [M1 Assembly](https://support.namawell.com/en-US/m1-assembly-5901850.md): Step 1 — Combine Blade Frame + Filter Basket: Insert the blade frame into the filter basket. Make sure the blade frame is fully placed within the filter basket, and the tops are aligned. Note: We recommend you clean the chamber set before using for the first time. Step 2 — Placing the Filter Basket: Gently lower the assembled filter basket into the chamber. It will automatically fall into the correct location. Step 3 — Attaching the Lid: Place the chamber lid onto the chamber and twist it to lock into place. Align the arrows on the lid with the unlock symbol on the chamber, and twist clockwise until it locks into place. Step 4 — Place Chamber on Base. Step 5 — Close the Spout: Before adding ingredients, double-check that the spout is closed. Step 6 — Pitcher Placement: Place the provided pitcher underneath the spout. Step 7 — Plug in the Power Cord: Plug the power cord into the back of the base. And then plug it into an available socket.
- [M1 Operating Instructions](https://support.namawell.com/en-US/m1-operating-instructions-5901851.md): Step 1 — Turning On Your Milk Maker: Turn on the power by switching the power switch located at the back of the base. Once the power switch is on, the M1 display will light up and prompt you to set the blend time. Note: If there is no activity for 5 minutes, the display will go dark. Simply press the button to re-engage the display and continue using the machine. Step 2 — Setting the Blend Time: Rotate the control knob to adjust the blending time depending on the type of milk you're making and the consistency you prefer. Step 3 — Starting the M1: Once you've set the desired blend time, press the Start button to activate the blending process. Step 4 — Open Spout: Once blending is complete, the display will prompt open spout. Open the spout to start the spin cycle. This will allow the liquid to start flowing into the pitcher. Step 5 — Spin Cycle: After 10 seconds, the M1 will automatically begin the spin cycle. The spin cycle ensures that every drop of milk is extracted from the pulp. Note: The spout should remain open during the spin cycle. Step 6 — Close the Spout: When the spin cycle finishes, close the spout. Your milk is ready to be enjoyed.
- [M1 Storing Your Plant-Based Milk](https://support.namawell.com/en-US/m1-storing-your-plant-based-milk-5901852.md): Step 1 — Store Directly in Pitcher: After preparing your milk, store it in the provided pitcher, making sure the lid is tightly closed to maintain freshness. Step 2 — Fresh for Up to 72 Hours: Fresh, homemade plant-based milk can be refrigerated for up to 72 hours, maintaining its flavor and nutritional value. Step 3 — Other Airtight Containers: Alternatively, store the milk in airtight containers, filling them to the top for the best preservation. We recommend using the Nama glass bottles.
- [M1 Using the Pulp](https://support.namawell.com/en-US/m1-using-the-pulp-5901853.md): Step 1 — Using the Pulp Pouch: Empty the pulp directly onto the pulp pouch for easy collection and storage. Step 2 — Storing Pulp: If you plan to use the pulp, store it in the fridge or freezer for later use. Simply fold the pulp pouch in half and press along the edges to seal. Step 3 — Using Pulp: The pulp is versatile and can be used for baking, granola, smoothies, crackers, and more.
- [M1 Cleaning Guide](https://support.namawell.com/en-US/m1-cleaning-guide-5901854.md): Step 1 — Finished Milk Making: Once you're done making milk, switch off the machine and twist the lid to remove it from the chamber. Step 2 — Extracting the Pulp: Gently remove the filter basket and blade frame from the chamber. Grab the blade frame and rotate it while you remove the filter basket, extracting all of the pulp. Step 3 — What to Do With the Pulp: Empty the pulp onto the pulp mat or into the compost bin. The dry pulp can be saved for later use. Step 4 — Washing Each Part: Wash each part with warm, soapy water. Clean each piece with a sponge or the included cleaning brush to ensure all residues are removed. Step 5 — Dry Before Reassembly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling to avoid moisture buildup. Tip: You can use the processing cycle to clean the M1. Add a few drops of soap and 5 cups of water to the chamber and blend for 30 seconds, followed by the spin cycle. Once complete, disassemble the chamber and rinse with warm water in the sink.

Note: Depending on the size of your celery, cut to fit into your juicer. Step 2 — Leafy Greens: Wash your kale and other similar leafy greens. Cut the kale leaves into thirds (or smaller) and insert into the juicer. This will prevent the leaves from wrapping around the processing blade. Step 3 — Citrus: Peeling any citrus is optional and depends on your personal preference. If you do not mind the slight bitter taste, feel free to keep the peel on. If you prefer to peel the citrus, try to keep as much of the white pith on as possible since it contains nutrients. You can keep the seeds as they contain excellent nutrients as well. Cut to fit your juicer and juice. Step 4 — Cucumber: Wash your cucumber and cut into thirds (or smaller) and insert into your juicer. You can keep the peel on. Step 5 — Beets: If you want to avoid the earthy taste, wash thoroughly or peel your beets. Depending on the size of your beets, slice to fit into your juicer. You can also juice your beet greens too.
