Step 1 &#x2014; Locate Printed Materials: Inside the chamber set box you will find a Start Here envelope with all the printed materials which includes the manual and quick start guide.&#xA0;Step 2 &#x2014; Combine Spinning Brush, Juice Strainer, and Auger: Insert the strainer into the spinning brush, and then insert the auger into the strainer.&#xA0;Step 3 &#x2014; Placing the Strainer into the Chamber: You will notice two wings on the strainer. One large and one small. Firmly place the strainer set into the chamber by locating the corresponding large and small cutouts. Push down until the top of the auger is sitting flush with the top of the strainer.&#xA0;Step 4 &#x2014; Assembling the Hopper: Place the hopper onto the chamber by aligning the guide mark on the hopper with the unlock symbol on the chamber. Next, rotate the hopper clockwise until the guide mark is in line with the Lock symbol. Holding the handle, place the chamber set onto the base with the handle in front.&#xA0;Tip: The chamber set must be assembled first before placing onto the base.&#xA0;After juicing, make sure to remove the entire chamber set from the base before disassembling.&#xA0;Tip: Squeeze the release tab to unlock the hopper lid. The hopper lid can be removed by lifting straight up. To reconnect, press down firmly until it clicks into place. Note: if the hopper lid is not closed, the juicer will not turn on.&#xA0;Step 5 &#x2014; Plug in the Power Cord: Insert the power cord into the back of the base. Then plug it into your power outlet.&#xA0;Step 6 &#x2014; Turn On Your Juicer: It is normal to hear the juicer clicking into place. Note: if the juicer does not turn on, please check that the chamber set is assembled correctly and the guide-mark is in the LOCKED position, and make sure that the hopper lid is closed.

How to prep fruits and vegetables for juicing with the Nama J2.

Step 1 &#x2014; Celery: Cut your celery stalks into thirds. Wash your celery and insert into the juicer. Note: Depending on the size of your celery, cut to fit into your juicer.&#xA0;Step 2 &#x2014; Leafy Greens: Wash your kale and other similar leafy greens. Cut the kale leaves into thirds (or smaller) and insert into the juicer. This will prevent the leaves from wrapping around the processing blade.&#xA0;Step 3 &#x2014; Pineapple: Remove the top and skin of your pineapple. Cut the pineapple into pieces to fit inside your juicer hopper. It is safe to juice the pineapple core.&#xA0;Step 4 &#x2014; Citrus: Peeling any citrus is optional and depends on your personal preference. If you do not mind the slight bitter taste, feel free to keep the peel on. If you prefer to peel the citrus, try to keep as much of the white pith on as possible since it contains nutrients that help your body absorb the vitamin C and other amazing antioxidants found in citrus fruit. You can keep the seeds as they contain excellent nutrients as well. Cut to fit your juicer and juice.&#xA0;Step 5 &#x2014; Cucumber: Wash your cucumber and cut into thirds (or smaller) and insert into your juicer. You can keep the peel on.&#xA0;Step 6 &#x2014; Watermelon: Remove the rind and cut into wedges to fit in your juicer. You can keep the seeds in.&#xA0;Step 7 &#x2014; Beets: If you want to avoid the earthy taste, wash thoroughly or peel your beets. Depending on the size of your beets, slice to fit into your juicer. You can also juice your beet greens too.&#xA0;Step 8 &#x2014; Carrots: Wash your carrots thoroughly and cut to fit into your juicer. You can also juice the carrot with the greens and skin still on.&#xA0;Step 9 &#x2014; Apples: Core your apples and remove the seeds. You can also hold the knob to REV for 15 seconds after juicing is completed. This will make the chamber easier to disassemble.&#xA0;Tip 8 &#x2014; Cleaning Silicone Parts: Removable silicone parts include the pulp outlet seal gasket, juice cap stopper, spinning brush blades, and chamber gasket. We recommend removing them every once in a while and cleaning with the included brush.&#xA0;Tip 9 &#x2014; Nutmilk: For plant-based milks such as almond milk, it is best to add ingredients through the top hole in the hopper lid while the machine is on. Be sure to scoop water and nuts together as you add them into your juicer. This will help give the best consistency.

Step 1 &#x2014; Finished Juicing: When you&apos;re finished juicing, always hand wash your juicer right away. Holding the handle on the hopper, pull the entire chamber set off of the base and disassemble in the sink. Note: Chamber set cannot be disassembled while still on the base.&#xA0;Step 2 &#x2014; Unlock Chamber Set: Twist open the hopper using the handle and disassemble the strainer set.&#xA0;Step 3 &#x2014; Hopper: The lid on the hopper can be removed by opening the lid and pulling up. The inside of the hopper is safe to clean. The processing blade is pointy but not sharp.&#xA0;Step 4 &#x2014; Wash Each Component: Wash each component by running them under water and scrubbing with a sponge or brush. The cleaning brush comes with a dual ended tip which can be used to pick out any pulp or scrub smaller areas.&#xA0;Step 5 &#x2014; Chamber: When cleaning the chamber, open the pulp outlet loop and clean the inside. The pulp outlet gasket can be easily removed and cleaned. Simply push it back into place once clean.&#xA0;Step 6 &#x2014; Removable Silicone Parts: Other removable silicone parts include the pulp outlet seal gasket, juice cap stopper, spinning brush blades, and chamber gasket. We recommend removing them every once in a while and cleaning with the included brush.&#xA0;Step 7 &#x2014; Drying: Make sure to always hand dry your juicer right away after washing. This will prevent any remaining residue from staining your juicer. Leave it out to dry before reassembling.&#xA0;Step 8 &#x2014; Cleaning the Base: Use a damp cloth to clean up any pulp residue or juice off of the base. Make sure to avoid any water contact around the control knob and the plug outlet.&#xA0;Step 9 &#x2014; Deep Cleaning: For a deeper clean, the parts can be soaked overnight in a mixture of warm water and three and a half ounces or 100 grams of baking soda. After cleaning, always dry, or allow each part to air dry before reassembling.
